Growing up in Florida, Lynn attended the Palm Beach County School of the Arts, and then went on to the University of Florida where she earned a BFA with highest honors in dance performance. At UF, her choreography was featured in American College Dance Festivals as well as faculty showcases, and she was awarded various scholarships including the Most Outstanding Senior. Through intensive summer workshops, she was able to attend the Alvin Ailey School, and work with companies such as Shapiro and Smith, ODC San Francisco, Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company, and the Chuck Davis African Dance Ensemble. In Austin, TX she danced for Chaddick Dance Theater under the direction Cheryl Chaddick, while also performing her choreography for various shows and festivals. She loves her husband, four rescue dogs, laughing, red and purple, scuba diving, friends and family, and the gift of expression through such a powerful medium.
